Buffalo Chicken Bread
This recipe went viral on TikTok and currently has 2.1 million views! This is a Game Day staple in our house.
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Frank’s Red-hot Buffalo Sauce
1 pizza dough
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Bleu cheese or ranch for dipping
Instructions:
1 hour before cooking place your dough on a floured countertop and allow it to come up to room temperature.
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Boil chicken breasts in salted water for 7-9 minutes, let cook slightly and shred.* Once shredded pour 1/4 cup of Frank’s Buffalo sauce on the chicken and mix well.
Stretch the pizza dough gently by hand until it’s thin but not see through. You want it to be about 16x16 for a large dough.
Drizzle your remaining Buffalo sauce on the dough, leaving a 1 inch rim around the edges. Spread shredded chicken on top of the dough. Cover chicken with cheese, reserving 1/4 cup. Starting with the edge closest to you roll the dough tightly like a burrito. When you reach the very end add the remaining cheese to the seam-this will act as a binder. Pinch the edges together and seal the ends. Flip the chicken roll over so the seam is on the bottom and carefully transfer to a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes or until the top is browning slightly and you see melty cheese oozing out the seams. Let rest for 10 minutes and then slice into 1-inch pieces. Serve with ranch or bleu cheese dipping sauce.
